Vacation! Woohooo! [Warning: LONG picture-filled post]

We finally took a vacation! It was MUCH needed and so fun!
First, we went out to visit my brother and his new baby boy! He is such a darling and so tiny! Only 2 weeks old when we got there! I wasn't smart enough to get out my camera, but trust me, he was cute :)

We took our time coming home to see a few sites. Stop one, Niagara Falls. It was beautiful and now we know to take a little longer there next time!  This was a my favorite pic I took.

Me and Cam in front of the falls. He actually kind of smiled! :) We could NOT get him to look at the camera, there were just so many other people that were more interesting, I guess.

All of us in front of the falls :)

Daddy and Cam in front of the falls. He was happier up on Kevin's shoulders, but he still wouldn't smile for us.

This was AWESOME!! Cam could have spent hours moving around these chess pieces. He loved it!
"I've gotta get me one of these!"

They had chess, checkers, and connect 4. Cameron favored the chess pieces and ran around moving them back and forth.

The next day we went to see the Kirtland temple.
Cam did a pretty good job, until they sat us down in the pews. {Sorry no pics, no cameras allowed inside} He did NOT want to be in there. Overall he was a pretty good sport, but it was so close to nap time... he conked out within minutes of getting on the road.

Later on that day after we stopped for lunch we went the the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. We bought a pass to a children's museum here in Ann Arbor, and because of it, we got in to this one for free!  It was so cool! They had dinosaurs, animals, live animals [like a mini zoo], a sharks, planets and crystals, an earthquake simulator... just a lot of fun stuff!

Cam wandered around pointing at everything.

We saw the dinosaurs and Cam tried to take over the stroller-pushing responsibility. He was VERY determined to be the ONLY ONE pushing the stroller. He was also more interested in pulling on the cable and trying to get past it. He so independent!

Cameron loved the outside "mini zoo." We got lucky enough to be there when they lady went in to feed the foxes. He continued to be the designated stroller pusher.

He really like the computer screen. This one was telling something about the planets.

There was a nice exhibit of crystals and other stones.

There was this cute cut-out in the wall, so we put Cam on it. He was unsure of it, but he like it. :)

The next and final day, we went to the Toledo Zoo! It was a lot of fun!!
Starting with the classic masks :)

There were a few exhibits indoors, problem was that Kevin and I both left our normal glasses in the truck. It's not exactly awesome to see nothing because it's too dark.... lol. Hence the single fish picture.

Problem with getting there first thing in the morning is that half of the animals were still sleeping. They were easier to photograph that way though....? :)

Our cute thirsty boy. Love him.

The polar bears were a lot of fun. There were two of them wrestling in the water and putting on quite the show.

My handsome boys :)

There was only one giraffe close enough to get a picture of...

Instead of looking at the giraffe, Cam wanted to chase the little birds around the pavilion area.

At first, Cam was terrified of the statues. By the end he was playing with them... poking them, climbing on them, tickling them.... ya.

Towards the end, we were getting tired and almost skipped the monkeys. Good thing we didn't! The leaping lemurs were our most favorite in the entire zoo!!

We found an awesome thai place on the way home from the zoo. We went in for lunch and there was a sign on the doo that said the ac was broken. The place was still packed. It was that good! We just wish is wasn't an hour away!
Wish we could post more, but this one is long enough as it is! We had a great time and didn't want to go back to work when we got home!
