I decided that I needed to do something artsy for the baby's room BEFORE he gets here, so.....
I got out my old canvas that I've been dragging around with me and decided to actually do something with it. I'm so proud of myself that after sooooo many hours on Pinterest I actually did something crafty! The big canvas I had was really beat up, so this was completely experimental and there wasn't much to lose if I totally screwed it up. I taped off the areas for the lettering, then the stripes. I didn't have any stencils, so I free-handed it.... ya, that's the part I regret. We'll see if I ever get around to redoing it, haha. All in all, it turned out alright. At least it's something to go into baby's room to brighten up the white walls (since I don't know if I'll have any time to paint, given our house closing keeps getting extended... ahhh, different story).
These other two canvases I picked up at Walmart for $10. I wanted to do some coordinating stripy wall art to go with the big sign. I think they turned out pretty cool. It was easy enough that I would most definitely do something similar again!
