I Heart Yard Sales!!

Yard sales are so much fun. Especially here in Michigan- most people only have a couple kids and then get rid of all their stuff. There is soooo much baby stuff in great condition and really cheap! Today, there was a community yard sale and almost everyone on the block was having a yard/garage sale. I finally found a good stroller and a ton of adorable baby clothes! I just had to share this onesie that I found. It's my favorite! :)

Just a side note for all those who care: We're still waiting to close on our house... It's taking it's time, but hopefully we'll be in before our baby comes!

My {sort of} First Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend has never felt like a holiday to me- mostly because I work with flowers, and Mother's Day is the second biggest day of the year. This year was no different. I went to work at a shop in Milan for the weekend. It was a lot of fun and really nice to be working with flowers again. Usually holiday's bring sore backs and achy feet... this one was no different... Kevin was so wonderful and pampered me when I got home. Because of the pregnancy, my feet were crazy swollen and Kevin massaged them all night. Oh man. It was great! On top of that, he got me some more baby stuff that we need before our little tike gets here!! I must say, the bibs are my favorite and it was so sweet that he went and bought a load of baby stuff all by himself.... :)

 If we could have gotten flowers for my mom or mother-in-law, this is what I would have sent!! It was my favorite and it smelled soooo good!

Doesn't Kevin have the best taste?!  He was so cute and excited when we gave this to me. He's gunna be the best daddy in the whole entire world!! Like I said before, I thought the bibs were AWESOME. Totally something Kevin would buy...

False Alarm

So, we were supposed to close on our house today.... yup, didn't happen. The title company found a lien on the property, so now we have to wait until that is resolved. Hopefully we'll close next week... ahh, this is getting old. We're hangin' in there though. We are so blessed, we really can't complain. Life is great! :-)

FINALLY An Update! YAYY!!

Hello All!! Just a quick update! 36 weeks now! We're in the final stretch, yayyy!! We got to see our little guy today and he was measuring perfectly for 36 weeks and he's 6.5 lbs :-) He was super wiggly and kicky on our way in to the doctor, and once we got home, but while we were in the office he wouldn't budge! According to Kevin, he's already turning out to be just like me... stubborn and shy...at times. lol. We can't wait til he's here!

And, WE HAVE A CLOSING DATE FOR OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We'll be closing on our house this Friday at 4:00! Happy day!! (But of course, it happens on Mother's Day weekend... the day that I'm working like crazy at the flower shop. Oh well.) I told Kevin it's basically the best Mother's Day present EVER!
